Why We Love Dance and Tumvle
Dance and tumble are both exercise and art forms. They allow for self-expression while also requiring discipline, focus, and skills mastery. Basically, dance and tumble are both challenging and exhilarating!
Dance and tumbling are also social activities. Students build friendships, encourage one another, and share common goals as they learn and grow together. Both help students develop confidence, coordination, discipline, and perseverance, while giving them opportunities to express themselves and take pride in their progress. Through movement and performance, students also gain an appreciation for creativity, teamwork, and achievement.
The skills learned in dance and tumbling can open doors to scholarship and career opportunities, while also building habits that help in school and everyday life – like perseverance, responsibility, and confidence.
