This is a mandatory event for all company teams. There will not be any classes for company teams this night.
We are #76 in the parade, close to Santa. We are asking you to please be there between 5:00 and 5:30. They have indicated that if we are not in place by 5:45, we are not guaranteed a spot in the parade. Parade starts at 6:30. See below for directions from the Jaycees as to where to go.
You will be going to the Staging Area that is on Henry Street (which will be closed off by police at the location noted on the map that I sent previously) and then you’ll have to follow the directions of Parade Marshals from there. We will be handing out paper copies of the Final Line Up so that everyone can see how they fit into the larger picture. Next to your group’s name will be a number (1-90) and then you will look for the float with that number posted on it. The Line Up will be staked out along the street, with enough space reserved for each entry, and everyone will line up in order.
At the end of the parade, we have been instructed to turn down Liberty Street to unload the float, so it is my understanding that is where you will pick your child up. Please let me know if you have any questions.
